Free Your account and your trades never leave this browser

Meet your new trading journal

You log the trade. Tradely does the arithmetic — P&L, R-multiple, expectancy, drawdown — and shows you which setup is quietly costing you money. No broker connection, no subscription, no card.

What's inside

Seven views. One journal.

Everything you'd otherwise keep in a spreadsheet, plus the maths the spreadsheet never quite got right.

Type what you did. It works out the rest.

Date, symbol, side, size, entry, exit. The moment you add a stop price you get a real R-multiple, and the numbers update as you type — before you even save.

  • Contract multipliers built in — ES at $50 a point, CL at $1,000, MNQ at $2, options at 100, or type your own
  • Gross, net, risk, R and hold time calculated live as you fill the form
  • Grade your execution A–D separately from whether it won — the two are different problems
  • Save & log another keeps the date, symbol and setup so a session takes a minute
How it works

There is no server

Tradely is one HTML file. Open it and it runs. Everything you type stays in your browser's local storage on your own machine — which is also the catch, so read the third card.

Your account stays here

You sign up with an email and password, but both live in this browser and nowhere else. There is no server to hold them, no verification email, and no record of you anywhere.

Stored on our servers: nothing
Because there are no servers
Nothing is transmitted

The page makes no network requests except loading its two fonts. Your trades, notes and P&L never leave the device. Nobody — including whoever hosts this — can see them.

Requests carrying your data: 0
Analytics scripts: 0
So back it up

The flip side of local-only: clearing site data, or a private window, wipes the journal. There's no cloud copy to restore from. Export a JSON backup regularly — it takes one click.

Backup: Data → Download backup
Restore: same screen, any device

Questions worth asking first

Does it connect to my broker?

No. Tradely is a manual journal — you type the trades in yourself. Nothing connects to any account, and nothing imports automatically.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every feature, no tiers, no trial, no card. There's a donation link if you want to support it, and nothing changes if you never use it.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser's local storage, on your device. It is never transmitted. That also means clearing site data deletes it — export backups.

Can I use it on my phone and laptop?

Yes, but they're separate journals — there's no sync. Move data between them with an exported backup file.

What can I journal?

Anything with an entry and an exit. Futures and micros with correct point values, stocks, options, forex lots, crypto — or set a custom multiplier.

Does it give trading advice?

No. It does arithmetic on numbers you entered and reports what it finds. No predictions, no signals, no model — nothing it says is advice.

Will there be broker sync later?

Not on the current design. Syncing means a server, accounts, and credentials — which is the opposite of how this is built.

Can I host it myself?

Yes. It's a single HTML file with no build step and no backend. Put it anywhere that serves static files, or just open it from disk.

Free, and staying that way

Start your next 100 trades
with a record worth keeping

No card, no tiers, no trial clock. If it ends up earning you something and you want to put a few dollars back in, there's a link. If you never do, you lose nothing — that's the deal.

Nothing is gated behind a donation. Every feature is in the free journal, because there is no other kind.
